Knowledge of L&D Needs

Not only do we have extensive experience working as law firm L&D professionals, but we also actively investigate the pressing needs of L&D teams via our Training Roundup, a networking forum for L&D professionals.

Needs-Based Content Design

Our clients frequently rely on us to help them produce training content that addresses special needs of their firms. For example:

  • When one of our clients struggled with getting their senior lawyers to participate in online networking, we developed our Online Networking Lab for a special firm event inviting clients to collaborate with their lawyers on investigating cool new ideas for online networking.

  • When another client’s partners were frustrated with wasting time on editing the writing of junior associates, we developed our Managing the Message course to help the partners quickly coach associates on making dramatic improvements in their writing.

Evolving with Our Clients

As our clients have shifted towards online learning, their L&D teams face challenges with creating content and training formats that lawyers find engaging while also ensuring compatibility with their LMS requirements. We work closely with our L&D colleagues to provide insights on boosting engagement both prior to our training (e.g. best practices in previous courses) and after our training (e.g. post-training meetings to identify future improvements). We also regularly repackage our training to help with LMS needs (e.g. supplying video content).
